Prime Minister Edi Rama gave the news saying that “20,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine have just arrived in Albania, as a gesture of solidarity of the Croatian government.”

Rama stressed that, “With 1,699,410 antiCOVID vaccines that have arrived in the country so far and other quantities that will come, we are determined to advance the national vaccination plan, to protect the life and health of every citizen.”

Health authorities intensified the appeal for vaccination of the population, with the introduction of the Delta variant in the country. The ministry appealed to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to curb the spread of the dangerous virus. Vaccines reduce the possibility of infection and avoid hospitalizations and fatalities to a large extent./j.p/r.e/p.s./
