The Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, announced on Tuesday that, thanks to the assistance of the strategic ally, the United States, the Ground Forces are now taking another significant step toward the standards required by the Alliance.

“This investment marks an important step in the process of modernizing and increasing the readiness of military structures, in line with our priority to upgrade the defense infrastructure,” emphasized Vengu.

“Enhancing the fleet of vehicles in the Ground Forces is also an element for increasing our defense capabilities and meeting international standards,” he said.
