Vlora’s Regional Administration of Protected Zones reports that intervention is intended to contain the fire in the area of coniferous forest.

“Blazes in the pine forest, in rough terrains which are inaccessible to fire fighters are impossible to be contained. While the fire that broke out in the Pishë Poros forest in Protected Park Vjosë-Narta, has been brought under control with the support of the fire-fighting forces,” according to Vlora’s Regional Administration for Protected Areas.

Vlora’s Administration for Protected Areas urges the inhabitants and users of territory to be cooperative in management of this emergency situation because recklessness and negligence bring about irreparable damage to the nature and threaten human lives.
