The exhibition is staged in response to high public interest by the General Directorate of Archives (DPA).

GDA wrote in a post on social media that the exhibition features a series of images showing the features and variety of the popular costumes of the Albanian lands.

This exhibition premiered in Gjirokastër, on the occasion of the 11th edition of the National Folk Festival. Meanwhile, it has also been staged in Tepelena, Shkodër, Korçë, Krujë, Durrës, Kallarat, Tropoja and will continue this tour in other cities.
