Architects and engineers participated in a study visit to Switzerland to gain practical knowledge on designing cattle barns in compliance with animal welfare standards.

They conducted visits to model farms and specialized enterprises, gaining firsthand knowledge of the planning and construction of modern barns based on leading Swiss standards and best practices.

The sharing of expertise centered on design principles that prioritize animal welfare, strategies for the integration of automation in dairy farming, and the implementation of practical solutions tailored to the local context.

This visit is part of the effort to establish a new standard for rural development in Albania, where carefully considered design supports healthy animals, productive farms, and sustainable agriculture.
