Held at the historic College of Saint Adrian, the festival aims to preserve and promote the Arbëresh language, traditions and identity among Italy’s Albanian-descendant communities.

This year’s edition, themed “The Future of Our Identity, the Roots of Our History,” will feature a programme combining music, cultural heritage and institutional discussions focused on Italian-Albanian relations and intercultural cooperation.

Festivities will begin on Aug. 6 with traditional Arbëresh folk dances through the town’s streets, while a special event marking the festival’s history, titled “The Best Years,” will revisit some of its most memorable performances over the past four decades.

The festival will culminate on Aug. 8 with the main song competition, where performers will take the stage in the Arbëresh language, showcasing the musical traditions of a community that has preserved its Albanian roots for more than five centuries.

Widely regarded as a cornerstone of Arbëresh cultural life, the festival continues to serve as a bridge between Albania and the Arbëresh communities of southern Italy, celebrating a shared heritage across generations.
