The increase in exports in this segment came on the back of the expansion of investments as part of support schemes launched by the government to finance the fisheries.

Also, the improvement of the infrastructure in the fishing ports as well as the construction of new markets for fish trading, which has increased the value of this product in the markets have played a key role.
Today, the export of fish has marked a significant increase. Compared to 2013, exports have increased 4 times more. In 2022, over 9,219 tons of seafood were exported.
