Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, announced that the production capacity is expected to be around 30 thousand tons or around 150 million euros for fish alone.

“This is how we increase the production possibilities, especially in the sea with floating baskets, where the production capacity is expected to be about 30 thousand tons or about 150 million euros just for fish,” she said.

According to Krifca, this new push aims to strengthen the sector as well as increase direct and indirect employment across the entire value chain, which brings better economy to communities in coastal areas and more opportunities for selling fish products “Made in Albania” in export markets.
