Beleri requested a review of the December 27, 2024 decision and called for the initiation of relevant investigations.
On February 28, media reports indicated that the GJKKO had directed SPAK to register a criminal filing and begin investigations into Olta Xhaçka and her husband, based on charges of abuse of office, document forgery, and laundering of criminal proceeds in complicity. However, today the Court of Appeals overturned the GJKKO’s initial decision.
