TIRANA, July 27 – The Municipality of Tirana is calling on citizens to take an active role in creating a cleaner, more accessible city by reporting any encroachment on public spaces through the “Tirana Ime” mobile application.

The app allows residents to instantly report unauthorized constructions on sidewalks, green areas, or building entrances – issues that often hinder free movement and limit public space.

Through the “Report” section, users can submit detailed information, including photos and exact location. Following on-site verification by municipal structures, appropriate measures are taken to restore access and remove illegal structures.

“Have you encountered a blocked public space that limits pedestrian access? Is there an illegal construction on a sidewalk, in a park, or at a building entrance? The ‘Tirana Ime’ app, created by the Municipality of Tirana, helps citizens report such urban issues,” the Municipal Inspectorate (IMT) stated on social media.

Citizens are encouraged to use the app proactively, ensuring that their neighborhoods remain open, safe, and accessible for all.

TIRANA, August 13/ATA/ Tourists in our country have the opportunity to learn about destinations, cultural events, etc., through the TEA (Tourism Events of Albania) application.

TEA is the digital calendar of tourism; it is a well-organized platform of tourist, cultural and artistic programs that serves tourists who choose to visit Albania.

Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro said today that, “The trip to Albania starts with a “scan” on the phone to then discover a fantastic itinerary of destinations, events, opportunities that TEA, the digital tourist guide of Albania presents, becoming the virtual holiday companion from the entrance gates of the country, to the end of this experience, where a single trip is not enough”.

Kumbaro invited tourists to download the TEA app https://www.tourismeventsofalbania.com/index.html

The tourist calendar of summer events is harmonized this year in the TEA (Tourism Events of Albania) application.

The TEA app is accessible for free on all phones. In the application there are activities that take place during the tourist season at any time and in any place. It is enough to set the location and the application will bring out the results where there will be activities dedicated to all age groups.

This digital tourist calendar was realized by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment through the National Tourism Agency in coordination with other institutions such as the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation and with all the country’s municipalities. /a.f/p.s./

TIRANA, July 18/ATA/ This week’s cultural tourism packages carry events extending from the squares of the capital or the big cities to the town centers of Orikum and Lake Belshi.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media a summary of information from the National Tourism Agency, while inviting citizens to follow the TEA application, so that to be informed about cultural tourism packages throughout this week in Albania.

Rama highlighted the fact that an electrifying musical evening is expected to enliven the city of Tirana, where the legendary Cuban musician Eliades Ochoa and the world-famous Latin-American singer Ricky Martin will perform on July 20 for all those who want to experience extraordinary emotions at these festivals of international proportions.

“Between literature, folklore, cultural heritage, circus and puppet theatre, the TEA application will become your guide to Shkodra, Durres and Vlora, in these hot summer days”, he wrote.

The prime minister invited the citizens to download the TEA application so that to stay updated with what is happening everywhere in Albania.

From July 17 to 20, the “International Folk Festival” will be organized in the amphitheater of Tirana.
