Türkiye’s Presidential Communications Directorate said Monday that as part of the visit, President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Rama of Albania will co-chair the first meeting of the Türkiye-Albania High Level Cooperation Council in Ankara.

The Council meeting will explore all aspects of the Türkiye-Albania relations and will address potential steps aimed at further deepening the bilateral cooperation.

“Besides bilateral relations, views on regional and international developments, particularly in the Balkans, on the basis of the understanding of preserving peace and stability will be exchanged as well during the talks to be held with Albania, Türkiye’s NATO ally,” Presidential Communications Directorate said in its release.

It is also on the agenda of the visit that various legal documents that would contribute to the contractual basis of the Türkiye-Albania relations be signed on the occasion of the Council Meeting.
