“The enhancement of the legal framework for investments is essential to ensure a transparent investment climate, secure investments, and streamline procedures and the overall investment process in Albania,” stated Neritan Mullaj, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce.

Another key pillar, according to the American Chamber of Commerce, is the development of a competitive and sustainable tourism industry.

Mullaj stated, “Sustainable tourism, which brings in sufficient revenue for Albania, is vital for bringing together the industry, government, and all key stakeholders, not only to attract and promote visitors but also to enhance revenue.”
According to him, special attention has been given to strengthening public consultation mechanisms and improving the healthcare system, a key component for a sustainable and inclusive society.
The American Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the “Monitor” magazine, organized an economic conference with political forces, which focused on economic issues that need to be addressed in order to guide economic development.
“This is an economic discussion that we, as a business community contributing 20% of GDP, actively support, as it is essential to foster a dialogue with political forces, making their participation vital,” said Grant Van Cleve, President of the American Chamber of Commerce.
