Sadushi expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the constant support given by the Dutch Embassy to the justice system, the High Court and training of judges over the years.

He briefed the members of the delegation on the current activity of the High Court, the problems facing the three-judge panel immediately after their appointment, the steps followed by them based on a well-studied methodology for reducing the backlog and delivering justice to the citizens effectively and efficiently.

“The High Court is waiting for new members, who will make the trial in this court even more effective and will increase the number of adjudications so that justice is delivered in due time,” he said.

Explaining the role of the High Court in fulfilling the constitutional and legal obligations, in opening the race for selection of Constitutional Court members for 2021, Sadushi said that “this process will be successful thanks to the parallel cooperation with the main institutions involved in this process such as the High Judicial Council and the Justice Appointments Council ”.

The Ambassador of the Netherlands, Guusje Korthals-Altes, praised the work done so far by the three members of the Supreme Court, calling it impressive in terms of decision-making and steps taken by judges to start reviewing backlog cases with the aim of serving the citizens and increasing public confidence in this court.
