TIRANA, May 8 /ATA/ Persons classified with occupational disability status will receive enhanced financial assistance for fuel-related expenditures, following the approval by the Administrative Council of the Social Insurance Institute (ISSH) to increase the fuel compensation allowance from ALL 10,000 to ALL 15,000.

The decision was adopted during a session of the Administrative Council of the Social Insurance Institute, chaired by the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj.

The measure provides for an increase in the fuel reimbursement allowance for individuals recognized with occupational disability status, aiming to ease the financial burden associated with daily transportation and living expenses.

During the same meeting, the Administrative Council of the Social Insurance Institute (ISSH) also approved the draft of the institution’s new Statute.

The Director General of ISSH, Astrit Hado, noted that the Statute regulates the organization and functioning of the institution, aiming to strengthen administrative capacity and improve the efficiency of public service delivery.

ISSH, Hado emphasized, remains committed to improving social insurance schemes, modernizing work processes, and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens.
