Through an official announcement, Bardhi informs that he has called in Jorida Tabaku, the vice chair of the party, to an urgent meeting.
“After the statement of the acting chairman of the party, Mr. Enkelejd Alibeaj, who exercises the responsibility of the Party chairman, that he is stepping down from this responsibility and as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group, I called an urgent working meeting to discuss the situation with the Vice-President of the Party Mrs. Jorida Tabaku, to weigh Article 46 of the Statute, in this transitional period. According to Article 46 of the Statute, in the prolonged absence of the chairman and at his behest, one of them replaces the Chairman. In the absence of this authorization, including cases of resignation from the position of the Chairman, the Secretary General convenes the National Council, which commands the Vice President to lead the Party until the return of the chairman to office or the appointment of the new head,” Gazment Bardhi says in his announcement.
