The Prime Minister published on social media the photo album featuring the reception by the Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida.
At the joint news conference with Japanese PM, Rama hailed the engagement of Japan to appoint an ambassador for the Western Balkans calling it a great news.

Prime Minister Rama said that Japan needs to be more present in our region.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Kishida said, among other things, that Japan and Albania are countries with similar mindsets that share in essential values.

“Both our countries are non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council this year. I had a meeting earlier with Mr. Rama where we directly and sincerely exchanged views on bilateral relations, as well as on various issues facing the international community,” he said.

Kishida was hopeful that Prime Minister Rama’s visit this time will encourage exports from Albania as well as investments from Japan.
