Begaj met with the chairman of the Democratic Party of Albanians, Izet Mexhiti, leader of the Democratic Movement, leader of the Democratic Union for Integration,  leader of the European Democratic Party, Arjanit Hoxha, as well as other political leaders in North Macedonia.

At meetings with leaders of Albanian political parties in North Macedonia, President Begaj focused on the need for cooperation and maintaining the Albanians’ European-oriented spirit.

Begaj said that cooperation would primarily benefit the well-being of the Albanians and the goals to fulfill the strategic objective of regional integration into the European Union.

According to a Kosovo government release, talks focused on full and speedy implementation of the Framework Agreement and its Annex.

PM Kurti confirmed Kosovo’s readiness to engage in active negotiations during Thursday’s meeting in Brussels. Kurti also expressed gratitude for the continued U.S. support for Kosovo.
