The loan guaranteed by the state budget for these two sectors will focus on supporting investments in these enterprises, mainly in technology and innovation.

“The strategy for business development and investments provides for 50 million euros to support manufacturing sector and we are thinking to make available the same fund for tourism sector.

The focus is to encourage investments in these enterprises and increase production,” Minister Denaj said at the today’s Investment Council.

At the end of 2020, have been registered 166,386 enterprises, marking an increase of 2.5% compared to the previous year.

About 90% of active enterprises are small enterprises with 1-4 employees and their contribution to employment is estimated at 26.4%. //a.i/

The project addresses significant investments in tourism infrastructure, market research, tourism products, with a major impact on economic development and employment.

The World Bank announced that the USD 71 million project on tourism was launched in 2017 with the support of four municipalities and several investments diversification of tourism in these areas have been completed. //a.i/
