During the meeting, discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral economic relations, identifying opportunities for new investment partnerships, and organizing joint activities to promote business and investment.

Both parties emphasized the importance of institutional cooperation and ongoing coordination to create concrete opportunities for Albanian and Spanish companies, as well as the development of projects that foster economic growth and trade exchange.
Albanian exports to Spain have seen an increase of nearly 20% in 2025. According to data published by INSTAT, this represents one of the highest growth rates among Albania’s trading partners for this year.
The main contribution to this expansion has come from the exports of minerals and metal products, such as iron, steel, and their by-products, which now account for an increasing share of bilateral trade.

In value terms, exports to Spain reached 15.5 billion lek, compared to 12.9 billion lek in the previous year.
Imports from Spain also saw an increase, reaching a value of 14.2 billion lek, up from 13.4 billion lek in 2024.
