A total of 11 talented Albanian producers, who have already established trademarks with their authentic products, participated in the Slow Food 2023 in Stuttgart, Germany, as part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development efforts to promote Albanian producers and expand cooperation and access to new international markets.

Participation in this international fair through the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and under the auspices the Agriculture Minister Frida Krifca, represented a very good opportunity to showcase locally grown fresh produce, as well as dairy and processed products.

“Small Albanian producers take part for the very first time in this exhibition and they are represented by the “Slow Food” network, an important movement in Albania that has delivered concrete results in terms of community work in rural areas, creating models of success,” Krifca said.

The Minister said she was proud to promote local producers as ambassadors of Albanian taste, tradition and unique culture.

More than 700 exhibitors participated in the Stuttgart Fair, in more than 20,000 square meters where they presented products of wheat, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, herbs and medicinal plants and sweets. Eleven producers, members of the Slow Food movement, showcased their products at the Albanian stand.
