Building Architecture Culture, the Albanian pavilion at the 19^th edition of the Venice Biennale highlights the reciprocal relationship between architecture and society, with this discipline extending beyond practice to academia and the broader public sphere, where spatial ideas are shared, debated, and reflected upon.

The curator of the Albanian pavilion Anneke Abhelakh is a renowned researcher, curator, and lecturer at ETH D-ARCH in Zurich, involved in contemporary art and architecture, and public space projects. The scope of her activity focuses on the spatial relations between practice, academia and the third sphere of architectural culture and develops projects that connect and promote discussion and understanding.

The 19th International Architecture Exhibition will be held from Saturday 10 May to Sunday 23 November 2025 with central theme “Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.”

The International Architecture Exhibition will showcase national architecture pavilions at Giardini and Arsenale, as well as at Venice’s historic centre.

German Minister was familiarized with quality and diversity of the organic products grown in Albania.

At Albania’s pavilion, Özdemir was hosted by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dritan Palnikaj, representatives of the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA), as well as by Albanian entrepreneurs who are showcasing their organic products at the international fair.

Albania’s participation, supported by AIDA, ITC and SIPPO, marks an important step for the integration of Albanian SMEs into European markets, confirming Albania as a country with quality and sustainable organic products.

BIOFACH 2025 once again confirmed Albania’s potential as a country with sustainable and quality products for international markets, representing an important step in promoting the Albanian organic sector at one of the world’s largest fairs for organic products.

The law on organic production, adopted last year, provides clear rules for Albanian products according to EU standards, increasing exports and benefits for farmers.
