On the first day of the visit, the delegation paid homage to the figure of President Ibrahim Rugova and visited Prekaz. Kodheli laid a flower wreath at the grave of the martyr Adem Jashari, while the delegation was also received by the Jashari family in a cordial meeting.

During the visit, the delegation will hold meetings with the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, with the Committee on Foreign Policy, with the Committee on Security and Defense, as well as with various members of the government cabinet.

Members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo as well as the delegation of the Committee on Foreign Policy of the Albanian Parliament will discuss on Tuesday the impact of the war in Ukraine on developments in the region and collective measures.

MPs from Kosovo and Albania will also discuss the Euro-Atlantic integration of the region and the implementation of agreements reached between the two countries.
