In its latest update, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) removed Albania from the list of international high-risk areas with effect from Sunday, December 19.

The German institute updated its list of international high-risk areas most recently.

According to the Robert Koch Institute, Albania is no longer designated as high-risk area with affect starting today and therefore, the travel warning by the Federal Foreign Office for Albania will be lifted.

Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania and Moldova are also on this list.
