The 188-km long stage is set to begin in the northwestern city of Shkodra and will end in the central Albanian city of Elbasan.

A total of 15 teams with 96 sportsmen are racing for team and individual prizes in this year’s edition of Albania cycling tour.

The races will determine the winners of five stages in a total of 763 kilometers in several cities across the country.

State Police announced Tuesday that several national roads will be temporarily closed to traffic:

Second Stage

“Zogu i Parë” road to the Shkodra exit, from 11:40 to 12:15

Shkodër – Balldre road, from 12:00 to 12:45

Balldre – Thumanë road, from 12:15 to 13:30

Thumanë – Maminas road, from 13:00 to 14:15

Maminas – Durrës highway, from 14:00 to 15:00

Durrës – Rrogozhinë highway, from 14:30 to 15:30

Rrogozhinë – Elbasan road, from 15:00 to 16:00

Bradashesh – Elbasan city ring road, from 15:30 to 16:00.
