The restrictions will be in place from 5 p.m. until the end of the match, which kicks off at 8:45 p.m., police said.

The affected roads include Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, Papa Gjon Pali II, Dervish Hima, Asim Zeneli, Themistokli Gërmenji, Ismail Qemali, Lekë Dukagjini and Abdyl Frashëri streets, as well as roads around Wilson Square.

Elbasan Road, the Ring Road and Bajram Curri Boulevard will remain open to traffic.

Police, working with Tirana’s municipal police, said hundreds of officers would be deployed to maintain public order and security before, during and after the match.

Fans will undergo security checks before entering the stadium to prevent prohibited items, including racist banners, fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, metal coins, umbrellas, lighters, phone chargers and other potentially dangerous objects from being taken inside.

Police urged fans to arrive at the stadium from 6:30 p.m. to avoid delays caused by congestion near kick-off.
