TIRANA, April 9 /ATA/ The representative of “Eagle Hills Real Estate Development”, which is building the tourist port of Durrës, Mohamed Alabar stated today that he is proud to be part of Albania’s success story in tourism.

Alabar addressed today through a video message to the panel “In the mind of investors”, which took place within the framework of the Conference on Investments and Economic Development of Europe and Albania.

“Tirana is one of my favorite cities. Our group has invested in the field of tourism for 20 years and we have many partners with whom we have cooperated in this field. Regarding our plan in Albania, it started 4 years ago, thanks also to the extraordinary leadership in Albania, the leadership of PM Rama”, he said.

Alabar highlighted the policies of development and growth that Albania is pursuing in recent years.

“Albania has recorded achievements of which it should be proud. We are happy to be part of Albania’s success story and to invest in the country’s amazing coastline,” he said.

Alabar emphasized that if compared to the past 4 years when we believed in a dream, it is enough to look at the statistics on economic growth where the economy as a whole has marked improvements.

“We have also seen tremendous improvements in Albania’s infrastructure and hospitality industry that you should be very proud of. Albania continues to do very well. PM Rama is an extraordinary man, so keep moving forward thanks to these successful policies,” he said.

Alabar emphasized that investment in tourism sector to improve hospitality structures remains a challenge. “We have to work for the sustainability of this industry and sustainability is a big responsibility”, he said./p.s./
