The ports and airports have been lacking for many, many years now and what will unfold in these years was inconceivable during this time. These investments will take Albania to a whole new level as they will have a positive spillover effect on other areas. ”

During a televised interview, Rama stressed that, “airports are not built with the state budget money and those who build airports are not stupid to lose money there because they know they will get good return on investments.”

“Airports bring much larger flows of people, because today tourists, especially tourists who spend a lot, not those who come by car for two days, but those who spend a lot, generate more income,” said Rama.
