The Swiss airline “Chair Airlines” officially announced today the launch of flights from Zurich (ZRH) to Vlora (VLO).

The airline’s inaugural flight is set for June 26, 2026.

In April 2025, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) assigned the code VLO to Vlora Airport for airport identification and ticket sales. This enables travel agencies to sell tickets on behalf of leading international airlines in the market.

Vlora International Airport will serve as the gateway to southern Albania and a key driver for tourism development. The airport will operate under more than three business models: civil aviation, aircraft maintenance, and a fully functional cargo service, spanning a terminal area of 22,000 square meters.
