The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) announces that, in the annual report “European Cities and Regions of the Future 2024” published by FDI Intelligence, Tirana ranks 7th in the category of 10 medium-sized cities in terms of cost effectiveness.

According to FDI Intelligence, the capital of Albania, Tirana is on the radar of foreign investors as an attractive place that offers low costs of doing business.

The cost efficiency indicator, measured by FDI Intelligence, according to the methodology explained by it, takes into account elements such as the average salary of skilled and unskilled employees, rent for premium industrial offices according to category A, minimum wage, cost of starting a business, cost of property registration, cost of building permits, oil prices, prices of 4 and 5 star hotels, cost of electricity connection, profit tax, VAT, total tax rate in % of profit and income per capita of the country, measured by purchasing power.
