This is what the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated at the joint press conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama at the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit.

“I had a good meeting with Macron, it was a meeting that came up with many initiatives, not one or two but many initiatives, I will talk about all of them, the coalition for artillery, the one with the USA or with other partners, very concrete things. We have to survive and in order for Ukraine to survive we have to make concrete decisions, so I can’t share with you the figure for artillery or other weaponry,” Zelensky emphasized.

President Zelenskyy said that “we need to survive, this means that everything we have decided, any kind of aid must arrive in time. This is the best initiative of all, bringing the ammunition to us on time if you can. Whether we will win or not it will hinge on this point”.

“President Macron came up with a lot of decisions about how to change the time aspect, how to strengthen Ukraine on the battlefields, we talked a lot about intelligence issues, about drones, joint production, technical things,” said Zelensky.

“But the most important thing to understand is when we share with each other initiatives, different initiatives, all of these are the second, fourth step, but the first step is defense, in order for us to be strong on the frontline. This is important because we have some questions about these packages with our European and US partners. We thank the USA for the leadership shown, but also the European partners and also other European partners such as the United Kingdom”, underlined Zelensky.
