“Thanks to progressive taxation, teachers pay 26% less in taxes,” said Ahmetaj.

In these two mandates of the SP, income tax on wages was slashed and teachers’ salaries were increased 32%.

While in the Action Plan 2021-2025, the government increases teachers’ salaries by 40%.

From January 1, 2022, all those who get paid up to 40 thousand ALL a month will no longer pay the income tax.
