Speaking at a meeting with the Socialist Party assembly in the northeastern region of Dibra, Rama described the current stage as decisive and demanding, requiring strong institutional and societal commitment.

“Our mission to bring Albania to Europe’s common table has entered its final phase, and this is a difficult stage that requires significant engagement,” he said.

Rama underlined the importance of the agricultural sector, noting that farmers will be key to ensuring compliance with EU food safety and quality standards.

“There cannot be an EU member state without food security and without products that meet the highest safety standards,” he said, adding that preparation across all sectors is essential as accession moves from a long-term goal to a tangible prospect.

He called for broad-based efforts across institutions and society to meet the requirements of EU integration.
