In a meeting with farmers in Berat, Rama said that it is necessary to shift towards another level of cooperation between mayors and farmers.

“When we started out, collection points were counted on one’s fingers in the entire area. Today, facts are facts and we have a whole system of collection points up and running”, said Rama.

According to him, “it makes sense that today we think that we will reach half a billion euros in agricultural exports by the end of the year, when we started out we barely recorded 120 million euros”.

“Today we have to focus on agro-processing so that we don’t lag behind. Other than exports or supplying the domestic market, we need to develop agro-processing”, he said.
