According to data from the General Directorate of Taxes, only in the first two months of the year preceding the launch of applications for the National Subsidy Scheme 2022, 3,674 farmers have been provided with NIPT.

There are currently 66,642 active farmers in the rural sector, while the number of farmers equipped with NIPT is increasing on a year to year basis.
Compared to 2018, over 25 thousand formalized farmers have been registered in a 3-year period.

The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development opened on February 25 the applications for 13 support schemes in agriculture, with a total fund of ALL 3.2 billion, of which about ALL 1 billion will be spent on excise- free diesel fuel in agriculture. /j.p/sm/
