The meeting focused on the progress and challenges faced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in preparing for the opening of intergovernmental negotiations and aligning with the EU acquis.

In a social media post, Salla stated, “Following the approval of the Negotiating Position for Cluster 5 ‘Resources, Agriculture, and Cohesion,’ Albania is at a critical stage in the integration process. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development continues to actively fulfill its obligations by consolidating integrated management systems (IACS, LPIS, REM), strengthening technical and administrative capacities, and preparing for effective access to EU funds, with the goal of transforming Albanian agriculture into a modern, competitive, and sustainable sector.”
