TIRANA, Aug  5  /ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, met with farmers, mainly producers in the grain sector, in Dropull, Gjirokastra.

The minister said that, despite the setbacks that agriculture is struggling with   due to the war in Ukraine, which has brought about fluctuations in the markets, the production of wheat in our country and its sale price had had rewarding results for farmers.

During the meeting, Minister Krifca informed the farmers that she has asked the EU to review the IPARD III Program, to make it possible to include support with agricultural machinery as well as storage capacities for wheat and corn producers.

From Dropulli, Minister Krifca informed about the progress of diesel fuel distribution, which covers all production crops in the country. /a.a/ /i.s/sm/
