The two officials discussed strengthening bilateral ties and implementing an action plan stemming from a joint declaration on agricultural insurance schemes, based on Türkiye’s TARSIM model.

“We discussed continuing the implementation of the action plan derived from the joint declaration on agricultural insurance schemes and exploring technical support in food safety and medicinal plant protection,” Salla said, adding that the Turkish side expressed readiness to deepen technical and institutional cooperation.

Türkiye has pledged to share expertise and best practices to support Albania’s agricultural sector, the minister said.
