A worldwide Microsoft outage has brought flights, banks, media outlets, and companies to a standstill early Friday morning.

The failure of IT systems across the world have caused delays and issues at airports, causing several airlines to ground flights.

According to MIE, the morning flights departed on time and faced no problem This, since the International Airport of Tirana has a dual system, which enables its trouble-free operation.

However, MIE informs that delays are expected in the following hours due to flights coming from other airports depending on different operating systems.

Tirana International Airport (TIA) confirmed that its system remained fully functional and unaffected by the latest Microsoft global outage.

Due to disruptions at international airports, there may be changes to flight schedules for both arrivals and departures at TIA

All passengers are advised to verify flight schedules directly with their respective airlines or travel agencies. //a.i/
