TIRANA, Feb 6 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The DP MP Dhurata Çupi stated on Sunday that we encourage SPAK to probe the 500 million bidding of the head of the Albanian Development Fund, Dritan Agolli.

In a media briefing, Çupi states that “a few days ago SPAK started the verifications for the Head of the Albanian Development Fund, Dritan Agolli, who awarded a USD 500, 000 contract to the chef who worked with his son for a menu in the project of 100 villages with the highest bid. Instead of prioritizing the construction of infrastructure, drinking water supply, uninterrupted energy, cleanup, restoration of cultural and historical heritage sites, the Albanian govt. and Albanian Development Fund focused on creating a menu to be served in these villages. ”

“The program of 100 tourist villages,” a project trumpeted by Edi Rama, which started in 2018 and was scheduled to end in 2020, like any other unkept promise of this government proved to be part of a propaganda campaign. This project was designed to make investments in infrastructure, economy, agritourism, reconstruction, monuments, etc., but these ideas have remained on paper. Apart from the road signage which no one knows their cost, the vast majority of villages are underinvested. Roads are obsolete and there are no cultural institutions.
