NATO posted a message on Twitter to say that, “In response to recent unrest and the injury of 30 members of NATO’s Kosovo Force, NATO has directed the deployment of the Operational Reserve Forces (ORF) for the Western Balkans, which was on a seven-day readiness-to-deploy status.

On Monday, KFOR members confronted Serbian protesters in Zveçan, who opposed the entry of the new Albanian mayor into the municipal building.

They threw various things in the direction of KFOR officers, injuring 30 of them.

According to NATO, the decision to increase the number of forces was taken so that KFOR can guarantee security, in accordance with its mandate. /KosovaPress/p.s./

The fund which makes possible the pension increase is created from the extraordinary tax on large energy exporters.

“Today, we are in the conditions where we can also tell the pensioners that we will keep the promise. The fund is created through the extraordinary tax that we imposed on the large energy exporters”, said Rama during a briefing to reporters after the meeting of the government.

But, he continued, that today we do not confirm only a general promise, but we also have the concrete information that the pensioners will get 5 thousand new additional Lekë together with the pensions at the upcoming pension./p.s./
