In her remarks at the meeting with the national team of negotiations for the European Union accession, with the participation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Dhuka thanked the institutions participating in these negotiations such as HJI, HJC, Bank of Albania, AMA, Competition Authority, etc.

“Then and now, there was overwhelming energy throughout the process. Sympathy began to grow, there was a lot of appreciation for the preparation, hugs and photos at the end of bilateral meetings, we all remember them, and some drinks to celebrate in the atmosphere of Brussels. For sure the voice of the Albanians echoed strongly, in a professional way, but also showed emotional involvement in Brussels”, said Dhuka.

She emphasized that, “we have only hit the ground running.”

The minister said that, “our national negotiation team has 36 teams that cover 6 groups, or as we call them in the terminology of negotiations, clusters.”
She thanked the negotiators of the first cluster. “You opened the whole process for us, but at the same time you laid the groundwork for opening the negotiations for the first cluster in record time and Albania submitted them on the 13th in Brussels, on the margins of the EU-Western Balkans Summit.”
