Today, in the international context, the opening of negotiations for Chapter 6 is of particular significance. It carries geostrategic importance and sends a geostrategic signal. It is a clear recognition of Albania’s alignment with EU policies, as a stable and valuable partner,” said Kos.

According to her, the topics of foreign relations strengthen peace, stability, and security within the EU and at its borders, with Albania acting as a key partner.
“Regarding our foreign actions, we are committed to protecting our interests while strongly promoting all our shared values,” she added.

“I have confidence in Albania’s determination to work hard on these negotiations, and we believe that you will remain committed to all the reforms required for this process. Given the national consensus regarding the negotiations, the involvement of not only the government and parliament but also civil society, every individual, and every city, the negotiations are, as you, Prime Minister, have said, a process that will have a positive impact on society and the economy, bringing benefits to citizens throughout the process.
