In a press conference at the Presidency of the Assembly after meeting with the delegation of the “Alliance for the Future of Kosovo” (AAK) party, Balla said that, “We have started a new phase of cooperation with the Assembly of Kosovo. We met with two of the Parliamentary groups, this is the third group. The visit of the AAK Parliamentary group is of special importance due to the important weight that this group and the AAK play in Kosovo politics. I want to say two things that are extremely important from the meeting we had with the delegation, the first has to do with the process of Kosovo’s membership in NATO. Albania fully supports Kosovo’s integration into NATO, considering it an issue of strategic importance and in the new geopolitical context created”, underlined Balla.

Balla added that, “The second issue is that of the railway line between Durrës and Prishtina. There is a feasibility study underway. The closer and stronger the cooperation between Albania and Kosovo, the better we do our duty in the respective functions “.

On his part, Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Besnik Tahiri said that, “During the meeting, we discussed legislative initiatives between the two assemblies, as well as the bilateral cooperation between the two countries”./ k.s // a.a /p.s./
