TIRANA, July 28 /ATA/ – Albania has successfully completed its reporting cycle to the European Commission on the negotiating Chapters 23 and 24, which cover the rule of law, judiciary, and fundamental rights.

Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja made the announcement via social media on Monday, emphasizing that the country “has proven that building the rule of law requires daily work, institutional cooperation, and tangible results.

According to Manja, the Ministry of Justice led the process through 21 reporting meetings, totaling over 85 hours of discussions and negotiations, and produced more than 3,500 pages of technical documentation.

“These included compliance tables, draft laws, explanatory reports, and qualitative analyses, all aligned with the highest European standards,” he noted.

The process involved 55 institutions and nearly 200 professionals, who worked closely under the coordination of the Ministry of Justice to ensure a “reliable and comprehensive reporting effort.”

“This is another step forward toward Shqipëria 2030 and Albania’s future in the European family,” Manja wrote.
