Speaking at the SP National Assembly, Rama highlighted three major goals for the “Albania 2030” vision, including completing EU accession negotiations within the next 27 months, by the end of 2027; securing ratification of the EU Council’s accession decision by all 27 member state parliaments within the current government term; and raising the Albanian national flag at the EU headquarters as a symbol of full membership before 2030.

“These are not three stations, but three peaks that represent the ascent of Albania towards the EU, the home where it belongs as part of its natural European family,” Rama stated.

Rama warned success is not guaranteed. It depends, he said, on the “work, patience and resolve” of his majority and institutions.

Rama emphasized that achieving these objectives will require commitment, hard work, and persistent effort. More than 400 members of the SP leadership and state institutions are actively engaged daily to make the European dream tangible for every Albanian.

The government head also underlined the mandate’s strong public support, with the SP winning 83 seats in parliament – its largest representation ever.

He noted that 53 of the 83 parliamentary members are serving their first term, making this the most youthful and fresh parliamentary group.
