During a televised interview, Ekonomi emphasized that, “since the first day of the launch of the call for National Support Scheme for Agriculture 2021, a record number of 8069 applications have been submitted by farmers via e-Albania platform.”

According to Ekonomi, National Support Scheme for Agriculture 2021 aim is to support the development of sustainable agriculture, to improve the competitiveness of “Made in Albania” products and provide farmers with the GlobalGAP certification to offer them the opportunity to export to foreign markets.

Albanian agricultural products are exported in 82 countries up from 75 countries in 2017,  following the certification of products with Global GAP, that sets international standards to ensure the quality and safety of Albanian exports. //a.i/
