According to the Ministry of Finance’s fiscal indicators report, the national tax revenue rose 14.4% year-on-year, with the tax administration collecting 2.1 billion lek more than during the same time of the prvious year.

Tax administration projects to collect over 44.2 billion Lek in national tax revenue in 2024 or 8% more than in 2023 based on the economic growth projections, new taxes on gambling, increased fuel consumption that leads to higher revenue from circulation and carbon taxes.
