Rama reiterates invitation for dialogue with students and lecturers

TIRANA, October 31 /ATSH/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama reiterated his invitation for dialogue today to the students and lecturers who are continuing their protest, expressing the government’s readiness to consider their proposals and settle their grievances.

PM Rama shared in the social media images of a stone table set up in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, bearing the inscription “Dialogue.”

However, the protesters have so far refused the prime minister’s invitation, demanding his resignation and signaling that the protest will continue.

In previous statements, Rama has expressed his willingness to consider every proposal put forward by the students and lecturers, noting that the government is preparing a package of measures to address their needs.

According to the prime minister, the goal is to ensure that listening to citizens’ concerns renders into concrete decision-making and support.

Furthermore, according to Rama, the 2027 budget carries additional measures to support families, public services and students. Meanwhile, the prime minister has warned that anyone who attempts to incite urban terror or religious division, or to undermine the tradition of tolerance and harmony in Albania, will be held accountable. /gj.m/j.p/p.s./
