TIRANA, October 24 /ATSH/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama has released footage that shows protesters burning ‘Dialogue’-stamped papers and cushions from a makeshift table outside the Prime Minister’s Office.
In a statement on social media, Rama accused the Democratic Party of inciting violent acts during the protests in Tirana.
“And here is the mother of violence—the Democratic Party—which, after burning and destroying things using the masks of so-called ‘students’—alongside ANTIFA and other perpetrators of violence in Tirana—has now stepped forward to claim authorship of urban terror…” wrote Rama.
The prime minister’s reaction comes on a day when protests took place in Tirana in front of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Education.
