TIRANA, October 19 /ATSH/ – Tirana’s protest continued into the afternoon as demonstrators marched from the Prime Minister’s Office down the Martyrs of the Nation Boulevard toward Skanderbeg square.

The crowd threw firecrackers, fireworks, and a Molotov cocktail, setting fires in the street. Police deployed tear gas and water cannons to disperse the protesters, who pushed onward toward the Interior Ministry and Skanderbeg Square.

Demonstrations remain ongoing in the capital amid high tensions and police intervention.

Further on, the protesters hurled a barrage of projectiles—including Molotov cocktails—at police, who retaliated with water cannons.
